Old Wisebark is suddenly awakened by a wisp of fairy dust as the wee one passes by.

This watercolor was painted on Arches 140lb hot press paper and measures 5x7.

Beautiful! I love the grain detail on the tree... They don't look real, almost like you put them on in photoshop. That means you are truly talented. You don't need these overrated digital programs to create the effects you want (rather quickly and cheap-looking, at that!)
I love how you show traditional media is definitely not out of date :heart:
