Walking in the Valley by yaamas Walking in the Valley by yaamas
I've been thinking for some time how to create an image that best describes my walk of Faith. Since it is my walk, I thought I'd use myself as the model for the traveling pilgrim.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil. For thou art with me. ~Psalm 23

It is from the bottom of my heart why I had to share this image. My Faith in God is what sustains me, carries me and inspires me...I was simply the pencil for this one. Thank you, for your very kind words.

Very fine, Brother James. I like the way you left the questions open. Is she a tempter, trying to lure Pilgrim from the path, or an angel sent to sustain him along the way? The forgotten staffs and Bible by the fence suggest the former, but the Psalm suggests the latter.

Beautifully described, brother. There are times when we are blinded in pride and times that we see with Grace, times when evil appears beautiful, but God sheds Light on it to really see it for what it is...separation from Him...but He did send His Son in our place so that we would know Him and that is truly what it's all about.

I think that's an apple with a bite taken by the staff in the corner too. At first I thought the woman was Nadine, but now I don't know either!

The more I look at it, the more I think it's Nadine's evil twin. 'Ware the lady's apple, good Pilgrim.
